The beginning of a lifetime of togetherness!
Engagements are one of the most special occasions. They hold the promise of a lifetime of togetherness, the first milestone in a lifelong commitment, and the beginning of life and love dedicated to each other.
Our next blog post is about a photo shoot we did for Mckenzie, a bride-to-be, for her engagement. The outfit was designed and styled by yours truly.
We knew we were onto something special when we created this illustration for her. It was simple, elegant, and regal. She was adorned in teal from head to toe, symbolizing the infinity of both the sea and the sky.
Mckenzie looked breathtaking in this teal-colored, brocade, A-line lehenga which was designed with a thick waistband and a golden brocade border at the hem keeping in mind her body type.
It was paired with a teal-colored, sleeveless, silk choli blouse which had a soft sweetheart neckline with minimal detailing on the neckline, scattering beads and sequins all along. The fabric, the cut, and the stitching were made-to-measure and fit her like a dream, just like her and her fiance together.
The dupatta was again a teal Georgette dupatta with beautiful golden tassels matching the brocade on the lehenga and lending a royal touch to the outfit.
The use of teal color also complimented and brought out the color of Mckenzie’s gorgeous eyes.
To accessorize her look, we gave her a full jewelry set with a matching necklace, pair of dangling earrings, and a maang-tika. Her footwear was a pair of strappy wedges for style and comfort.
The make-up opted for was a no make-up make-up look with just a bold mauve lip color and her naturally blonde hair was styled in a side-parted, left straight look. Her happiness added a radiance that we cannot take credit for.
A subtle yet stunning look for a special day.
We loved putting this whole outfit and look together for Mckenzie, and the smile on her face was the best part. Do let us know what you wore for your special day, engagement, or otherwise. We would love to hear from you in the comments down below. Stay safe, stay gorgeous!
