Eco-Chic Elegance: My Sustainable Wedding Gown Journey

When it came to planning my dream wedding, I knew I wanted something special, something that not only represented my love for fashion but also my commitment to sustainability.

My journey led me to create a unique and eco-friendly wedding ensemble, using a pre-loved tissue embroidered off white saree from Nalli Silks as the cornerstone of my bridal gown.

Collaborating with my dear friend and talented designer, Lisha Mohan, was a dream come true.

We shared a vision of sustainability and style, and she painstakingly brought my ideas to life through a modular design.

This gown was more than just a dress; it was an expression of who I am and what I stand for.

The gown featured a sweetheart neckline bootcut jumpsuit, a high-waisted mermaid cut skirt with godets, a tissue overlay, a tissue blazer, and an appliquéd veil.

What made it truly unique was its ability to transform into six different looks, allowing me to express different facets of my personality throughout the day.

Our wedding took place against the stunning backdrop of Goa's seaside, and the gown blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the landscape.

We chose to capture some of our most cherished moments at the Bangalore Club, which shared an architectural style reminiscent of our wedding venue, Prainha Resort in Goa.

My sustainable wedding gown was more than a fashion statement; it was a symbol of our love and respect for the environment.

It showed that elegance and eco-consciousness could go hand in hand, proving that style doesn't have to compromise sustainability.

It was a day I will forever cherish, and I'm proud to have walked down the aisle in a gown that told a meaningful and beautiful story.
