A Late Valentine’s Day Tribute to My Beloved India

As Valentine’s Day passed not too long ago, I find myself reminiscing about my recent journey to my beloved land, India. This past Christmas and New Year’s, I embarked on an unforgettable adventure filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with friends and family.

From the vibrant streets of Brigade Road to the charming corners of Church Street, each step resonated with the heartbeat of India. Indulging in creamy delights at Corner House Ice Creams and savoring the iconic Chicken Liver on Toast at Koshy’s added flavor to my nostalgic trip.

Venturing to Mumbai, I marveled at the majestic Gateway of India and wandered through the bustling lanes of Colaba, hunting for pocket-friendly glasses. Exploring Kala Ghoda, I stumbled upon the exquisite jewellery store of Bhavya Ramesh, where each piece echoed the rich heritage of India.

In Jaipur, the Pink City, I reunited with my best friend and together we explored the opulent City Palace, marveling at its grandeur and history. Each moment spent in the embrace of Jaipur’s splendor filled my heart with warmth and wonder.

As I look back, having collaborated with Ink Trails, an illustration artist from Bangalore. Together, we captured the timeless beauty of India’s landmarks, immortalising the essence of my love, my life, and my land.
