3 ways to Style Overcoats
While the weather is confusing all of us, this wardrobe staple, the overcoat is here to stay. Not just for a hot summer day but even for a cold winter one too! So, stay tuned to see how I style the overcoat in 3 simple ways.
The first look includes a periwinkle patterned overcoat coat paired with a white halter crop top. I’ve teamed this up with a thrifted floral pencil skirt, a brown waist belt and some neutral block heels. This look is perfect for a lunch out with your friends or even an afternoon tea.
The second look includes a black retro print overcoat paired with a blush turtle neck. I’ve teamed this up with a denim pencil shirt and some block heels to finish the look. This look is perfect for a movie night or even a date on a breezy summer evening.
And the third look includes a blush overcoat paired with a flesh tone camisole tucked into a black palazzo, some neutral block heels and an animal print sling to complete the look. This outfit is perfect for a rooftop dinner or a long stroll or a night out at the club.
With that, you now know how to wear and style overcoats without looking frumpy with all the layering. In fact this wardrobe staple will be seen not only in SS/19 but all the way up to SS/20 as well. So make the most of this wardrobe staple. Also, can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these looks. Feel free to leave a comment down below.
